It is decent for the sound, but main deal breaker for me was the on-ear design. I don’t prefer using that.
Guys, I have started posting something new on my YouTube. Apart from reviews, I am focusing on making some informative content for my audiophile friends who are new to the hobby. For my first video, I made it as a list of things that beginner audiophiles should keep in mind so as to get the best experience. If you guys have some time, kindly give this one a watch and do let me know how I can make things more informative for the viewers.(Please note that the target audience for this video is primarily beginner audiophiles).
Hello Friends,
Today I am bringing you guys a review for the amazing FiiO FT1 Pro. This is a budget-friendly pair of planar magnetic driver headphones that pack a really solid sound presentation. From amazing build to easy drivability and delivering outstanding sound, these do all!!
I am sure $200 comes right under the budget category when it comes to headphones, Watch my review and check out the comparison thoughts with Hifiman Sundara and Sennheiser HD600 series!!
Man i have been listening to the LUA Synchronicity since evening today. This IEM has got some exceptional sub-bass reach. I actually got this pair from a dear friend of mine, to measure and upload on my squig, but I ended up liking it so much that I decided not to return and rather pay him lol.
Exceptional vocals, like reallllly good. Sub-bass reach is phenomenal, it is infact very thunderous and sensational. In tracks like Bad Guy by Billie Eillish, it literally shook my ear drums lol. However, mid-bass could’ve been more in terms of quantity that would give it a more slamming response as well. Treble region is amazing, nice crispness, claps, violins, flutes sound nicely defined.
So far I just don’t like two things, need a bit more mid-bass, and the fit creates vacuum sensation at times so I need to ear tip a bit. Ah did I tell you guys the pair looks exceptional!!
Sounds like an absolute powerhouse for bass and vocals! I’m curious though, do you find the fit issue improves with different ear tips, or is it a consistent thing?
Powerhouse for sub-bass man. Mid-bass lacks quantity(Quality is top-notch). Fit issue definitely improves with tips, I am still trying different ear tips. A friend suggested Tang sancai tips so I will be trying them out today.
Sup Pulkit!! I got the DX170, otherwise I’d have bought the DX180, BUT, the DX170 is known for it’s colossal soundstage, while the DX180 is known for having a more intimate stage, so not willing to trade the increased detail retrieval and extension for loss of stage.
found myself on this site. I was invited by HiFiGo.
Hey man!!
man iBasso makes some solid products, I have personally owned the DX160, tried the DX180 extensively, owned DX240, 320, etc. I miss my 320, maybe someday will buy the 340 next haha
I would LOVE to own the DX340 with the tubes module! That would be a dream purchase.
same for me hehehe
Testing the tube amps now with the DX340, AMP14 all the way for the true Analoge Smoothness extends that Smoothness up to the clean treble,
AMP16 Hybrid is a compromise between the Class A/B mode and the Somewhat more Tubey goodness on Tube mode and warms up the bottom half only leaving the top un coloured for those not wanting to fully commit to a vinyl like presentation.
Man i actually got to try the DX340 at an event last month in my city, it sounded exceptional. what a solid resolution that one has. I don’t know what amp card it was using though.
Hello Friends,
Headphonezone brought the mini Canjam of India, the HPZ Connect event to Delhi last month. Surprise for us audiophiles was that the Noble Audio Team was also present at the event, and with them, they had brought the latest Noble audio lineup including the flagship Shogun, Chronicle, etc.
I personally loved a bunch of products at the event including the Softears RS10, STAX SRS-X1000, SMSL VMV Stack, and a few more products.
Have you attended any of the Headphonezone Connects yet? If not, let me tell you these are the closest things to Canjam that you can actually get in India. Kudos to Raghav and the whole @headphone_zone team for bringing us audiophiles together across the India with the Connect events!!
See you guys in the next one!!
Okay this has to be a unique looking IEM with great sound response, i mean i just loved it!! Artpical Lucifer, i never knew the ruler of hell could sound such sweetly!! Impressions will be dropped later.
Usually not associated with the Star of David either
haha i guess that has to do something with the star at the centre of the shells.
Yes. The Star of David is a symbol generally recognized as representing both Jewish identity and Judaism. An upside down pentagram would have been more in line with Lucifer.
got your point now. I just checked Artpical also has another IEM known as Michael, It is now available on zeppelin in SG. Lucifer is also available with them now.
Makes sense — sub-bass focus sounds awesome. I’ve heard good things about the Tang Sancai tips too, let me know how they work out for you! Might try them myself if they help with both fit and sound.
