that is a very thin driver housing…looks to be like a half of what my 4xx are in thickness.

Might make them extra airy on the top end?

Less material to get in the way in theory, allowing more space for the driver to breathe

just because a housing is thick doesnt mean it has stuff in the way. it could be a big driver, LoL!

those drivers look so SMALL compared to others. the pads are so think I worry about comfort in the extreme. :frowning:

I want these to be the Sendy Aiva drivers… for 50$ less than the HF580s. :stuck_out_tongue:

I may have to snag a pair and go head to head with my 4XX… Makes me really concerned, cause I REALLY like my 4XX

To level the playing field for the 4xx, you might wanna try the grill mod to expand the soundstage and a pad swap for the ZMF Oval Cowhides.
