Still to early. Definitely can say I’m enjoying the hell out of them. My problem with a Top 5 will always be choosing between the ones I love to jam on like Meteor and EST or the more musical clean ones like SA6U and P1 Max. Guess I’d need two top 3 categories.
@GooberBM has given me the pleasure to graph and demo some of the mod he has done to his sets. While also giving me the opportunity to understand manipulating the database with multiple inputs. It’s still a work in progress as the EA500, 41T and EN1000 still need graphing. For now here are the graphs for the Aurora and Rosefinch.
Aurora: v. refers to vent mod and n. for nozzle mod
Rosefinch:
Yo what’s with KBear and 8K peaks I don’t think that’s from measurement alone right hahaha
The Aurora graphs look like how they sound.
I’d have sworn the Rosefinch graphs would’ve had a bigger difference with the dual filters. Looks good though
I love it though. That’s my exact non-sensitive spot that adds clarity and cleans up the treble for me. I know it’s an ice pick to some but for me it’s wonderful!
Yeah I’m surprised the rosefinch graph isn’t different. That aurora looks nice though…
If you think the Aurora looked good, check out the EN1000 mod
Holy BALLZ that 8k peak it does NOT sound that boosted in your ears to me personally, but that bass is phat af as the graph would indicate, that’s definitely accurate.
I just asked about this elsewhere lol!
@domq422 will confirm but with the amount of bass that it has to fight through, the 8k peak isn’t too much, it’s actually pretty necessary to keep the treble clean
So thanks to @MMag05 I’ve gotten the opportunity to start getting my personal IEM sets graphed onto a squig. So far the sets I’ve sent to him to graph out are my KBear Rosefinch, KBear Aurora, Simgot EA500, and Simgot EN1000.
Now I wouldn’t be me if it was just sending down four IEMs. The catch on this is that all four sets are modded up, and Mags is doing the work of graphing many of the possible configurations my sets are capable of.

Some things to note: while I am willing to enjoy different sub-bass profiles, I’ve told before and now you can see it for yourself: I’m all about that midbass and I will accept more “bleed” into the lower-midrange than I think some others will.
One set I’ve been quietly impressed with is the Simgot EN1000. One caveat I’ve had to live with is that other graphs have been less than flattering and it’s hard to suggest anyone take a chance on. Now, I can show that the peaks that look (rightfully) terrifying on other graphs are not indicative of my experience. And a simple Olina filter mod can turn it into one of the best mid centric IEMs I’ve heard.

Another benefit to these measurements is that I can upload them to other squigs and compare (very loosely compare, considering the apples-to-bananas nature of cross-squig comparisons) my sets to other sets.
While I’m not making an argument that KBear Aurora is equal to or better than Penon Serial (any opinions are subjective and depend on user experience), what I am saying is that KBear Aurora is an underrated and under-reported IEM. But now I can start to show why it deserves more love, rather than just saying “Aurora is good, y’all”.
I’m going to spend some more time making IEM comparisons, now that I have graphs of my personal sets, and while I have free time without new IEMs to try out and give impressions on. Get ready and strap in, because I’m about to vomit IEM graphs on you!
Is the Olina filter from OG or SE Olina?
SE. But they’d be the same as what is on sale in the linsoul store, their Olina filters are sold separately
Is this your excuse to not have your own coupler?
Yeah, it’s quite looking that way lol
As much because @MMag05’s database is going to be one of the more unique databases out there, I’d rather just feed my sets into it
Woah woah now! Don’t go convincing others to buy one then I’ll loose my trusted sources.
“Send me your sets so I can list- I mean, graph them. ”
I dunno how you Euros do it, but we deal in honor here in Amer…
BWAHAHAHAHHAHA
Okay I thought I could say that with a straight face but I can’t
But I do trust Mags and our little crew. They’ve trusted me with some insane sets so I think I can trust them with my meager collection
Dam that’s PRETTY GOOD qc compared to the shit shows out there even with big companies
