Fantastic write-up! I actually considered leaving the silver nozzles on when I sent the OD200 to you, but I ended up putting the black back on because that’s the way they came in the retail package (why, Oriveti, why?) - so…sorry for the shock 
This was really valuable to me, having read a bunch of your reviews and gotten some grounding in what you hear and your approach. I’ve since gotten some more personal perspective after the early hype and honeymoon through exposure to some other one DD sets, so this doubly helps me cement some understanding of where things stand - thank you!
Definitely interested in the Oriolus now, which was already on my list to research…

That’s exciting! I was hoping to go this year, but unfortunately can’t. I did recently visit Audio 46 in NYC and spent a few hours trying out some amazing gear.
Well, this appears to be the list of companies that will be there. Damn, you’re going to have fun!
I would be interested in trying the Oriolus Triallii (JP if its there), the Annihilator 2023, Softears Twilight (I really want to try this. I’m wondering if the signature will be too warm for my taste), Timsok 316, any/all of the Canpur iems, the Andromeda Emerald Sea (to compare to the 2020)…for headphones: the Dan Clark Expanse, Mod House Tungsten , both of the Warwick Acoustics systems, the Meze Empyrean 2…and of course check out some of the new DAPs, like the Hiby R8ii…!!

I have the iBasso for mobil with the bottom jacks. Totally get your point.
The DX170 so well thought out that way with usb on top makes for a excellent transport for usb out my my XDUOO XD05 Pro and a great carry for mobile use.
