Good audio reviewers and ones to stay far far away from

YouTube headphone reviewers I trust:

Resolve (headphones.com, The Headphone Show. The true spiritual successor to the retired Tyll Hertsens)
DMS
Joshua Valour
The Audiophiliac (Steve Guttenberg, ex-CNET)
The Honest Audiophile
Gavin’s Gadgets (straight shooter from the UK)
BadSeedTech (doesn’t pretend to know everything)
crinacle (the IEM master)
Super* Review (another IEM ace)
Wheezy Tech
Passion for Sound (excellent reviewer from Australia)
oluv’s gadgets (I know Oluv polarizes people, but I dig his no-BS, Austrian approach)

I’m not big on guys with a “schtick” like Z, Cheapaudioman or HomeStudioBasics. They know their stuff, but both try to attract as much attention to themselves as the products they’re reviewing. A good way to build a brand, but I’d rather listen to cats who focus on the product.

I love the quality of Darko’s videos. Superb production value. But the dude often reviews gear and systems that cost the equal to GDP of small European nations, so it doesn’t hold as much interest to me.
