Hey all. I’ve got a cheap Audio-Technica AT-LP60 record player and another cheap Sony receiver and bookshelf speaker combo. Looking to upgrade this for something around the $600 mark if possible. I’m open to options here. Perhaps it’s better to just purchase an item or two now and save for other components, or to try and purchase all new components. It’s sitting on a 60 inch credenza in my office and the room is probably 18x12. Hopefully this is the right place to ask this and any help is appreciated.

Also don’t look just at wpc, my 25wpc Cambridge is louder than my Onkyo 50wpc Stereo receiver. Start with a quality Amp, I like both Cambridge and NAD for entry level quality.
