GoXLR with separate DAC

My buddy just got a goxlr mini for his stream and is having trouble using his external dac. Is there an easy workaround? What do you need to do to have the mixer do mixing and still output to his stream pc for stream audio and still be able to hear it all through his amp and dac? I have absolutely zero experience with this stuff and it seems like having dual output from pc is the solution, but how?

i think his problem is that if he’s using the goxlr as the output he cant also output to his usb dac. if he uses that line out to go to his stream pc thats fine but he still doesn’t have use of his standalone dac to use with his headphone amp. is something like voicemeeter able to clone outputs to different places?

He might want to make the connections and settings as the manual of Go XLR suggests to make it work, Including of course the need for separate dac.

So maybe not use the GO XLR as output device = problem solved.

Since the GoXLR Mini is basically a DAC itself, there is only one workaround which im personally using as well:

In the windows settings, click on properties of the “Broadcast Stream Mix” mic input of the goxlr. Under the tab “listen” mark the checkbox to listen to this device and choose ur DAC. Make sure, that ur DAC is also running in 24bit 48000Hz.
