šŸ”¶ Grado Ltd Edition Hemp

Thanks. I am kind of on the fence for what to get because I can get the Ananda for 600, and the DCA Aeon 2 Open for 700

I think Iā€™ll get myself the sr80e first. If I like it Iā€™ll get the hemp too

Try these pads on the SR80e. They sound similar to the Hempā€™s tuning.

Ill have to try those. I know Iā€™ll pick up the HEMPs again but wonā€™t be for some time.

Have the SR80e and love them for what they are. If they can sound a little closer to hemp, amazing!

I use Testorā€™s model paint to touch up the black metal grills and tiny brush on mine. They also have silver that works on touching up the Grado Lettering on the prestige series.

I got a paint pen from restore that works great.

Got this email today. Gotta tip the cap to Grado for being all in on the theme here:

Agreed! Iā€™m a little slow, but it just dawned on me that Grado changes $420 for these :joy:

Maybe these will be my next headphone purchase, just so I can chill out and listen to them on 4/20 each yearā€¦

They occasionally pop up around $320. Havenā€™t seen anything lower, unfortunately.

Where did you see them at $320?

Just secondhand throughout various forums

Ahhh thanks for sharing! Itā€™s hard to find them where I am. Itā€™s currently mostly pre order at a much higher price, unlikely Iā€™ll be able to get them secondhand. Iā€™m contemplating if I should use a freight forwarder to to get them from US. Iā€™m just a little worried about the warranty, since itā€™ll be difficult to send them back to US if it breaks

Amazon US sells them

Yea but the shipping and import fee is expensive to send to where I am

Should still be cheaper than local MSRP?

The price difference isnā€™t too significant. By the way, how is the build and quality of the headphones? The local seller provides 1 year seller warranty, but if I purchase from US Amazon, the warranty claim will be tricky

Unless you are kind of rough with your gear, Grados tent to last yearā€™s without any problems.

If youā€™re really concerned, you can always get Shipibo parts.
