How does the sound sig change for you with this?
I just found that the Beyerdynamic dekoni pads fit these… Soooo the fenestrated are getting a test drive.
I’ve tried Dekoni fenestrated pads on the Zeus. It’s a more neutral and more open sound, but sub bass takes a hit. You can probably boost it in EQ tho.

I need some help. I love the Zeus, love them a lot. So much that I’m returning (thank goodness for Amazon for return policies) the DT 900 Pros I got for gaming/working/movies for these. My problem is that after an hour or 2, I really start to feel the pressure on my head. The pads are just so damn big that they seem to hit all the bad pressure points on my head. It makes me so sad as the 900 pros are just so damn comfy, but the sound isn’t for me.
I’ve done some googling for different pads for the Zeus, but I’m not really sure which pads will work for it. Any ideas? Do any oval pads or ear shaped pads work for these? Or anything to shrink the size a bit?
im using 105mm diameter same as for my sundara. it rotates freely. borderline of loose. probably 100mm will be more snug fit
i just wanted to add something here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4ZdIY4_gh4 i think it has some information to add. also i heard its recommended to put your ears further back it should increase soundstage performance. while im here i want to ask if there are any other type of headband that uses the same mechanism as the HD zeus cus that could help
im hoping u could swap out the headband so it can get better padding/better weight.

Dekoni sheepskins are pretty good! I little better low end. Not much taking away from sound stage.
But what size pads do you get that fit the Zeus? Dekoni doesn’t have any that specifically say they fit the Zeus.
i think there are some documentation on helios pad swap but im unsure
I would have to dig it out, but last I recall it was the same size as beyerdynamics pads you can get from dekoni
Are they the same size as the Helios? Also, which BD pads would match the size? The 1990s? 880s?
i found the savior we all have been looking for Dekoni Audio Nuggets Headphone Headband Pressure Relief Pads - 4 Pack - Dekoni Audio its some pieces that u can but on any headband and will likely fix a major problems with the zeus.
i think beyer pads work i know some type of beyer pad worked for someone and it made it sound like what the reviewers described them as.

Dekoni Just had a B-stock sale for Beyerdynamic DT pads, which fit the Zeus, so I purchased three pairs, so that I could experiment with pad rolling them. I got the CHOICE LEATHER (Boomy/bloated bass that overwhelms the mids and highs [EWW]), ELITE HYBRID (nice tight, boosted bass with improved clarity over stock pads [Bass Head]), and the ELITE FENESTRATED (reduced mid and upper bass, but tighter, with airier treble and wider soundstage [Neutral/Balanced]). All three Dekoni pads removed the mids veil, pulling the sing closer to you, but reveling details that were previously hidden, with the stock pads. This same tuning effect can also be achieved with the stock pads, using Resolves’ EQ settings that he provides. The stock pads are more comfortable than the Dekoni pads, but that isn’t to say that the Dekoni pads are uncomfortable, it’s just that the stock pads are that comfortable.

i think in a case of this the hd zeus can be better and with a better “headband” and with the new pads it wont be as comfy but sound what we all expected from it to sound but i have not tried them ever also its 70 bucks for a pair so we may need to get it on sale or used or find any other places to get a good alternative for a lower price.
so i beg for anyone to test this out and hope it will help and will make myself mby buy them.
The regular dt ##0 versions work great

I had the same issue. The problem was that I actually had the headband extended farther than I actually needed it. Try tightening the headband a bit, it puts too much pressure on the sides of your head if you extend it too far.
That’s actually a really good point. Thank you. It does feel better. Not sure if it solves the problem, but definitely helps it.

Damn, the original pads are leaking ink like crazy. I have nasty stains on the cable and on the surface of my wooden desk. I left the pads for 5 hours on a blank paper with a small book on top. The result is scary. So i changed the pads and have the brainwavz xl pads on the zeus now. Additionaly i ordered a pair of beyerdynamic dt 880 velours pads.
So take care of bright surfaces, if you own the zeus
