HD 600 or Sendy Aiva

not sure about this headband kinda hurts… how do you wear this for long periods of time?

It will take a day or two to get used to it, also it will wear in with use. I can wear my clears all day if I need to without issues. The pads and foam are a bit stiff when you first get them so they need to break in a bit on your head

hope so, comfort is kinda bad atm.

It took me a few days to get used to my first focal as well, and now I have no issues with them. Of course if you spend a decent amount of time with them and don’t like them afterwords, do send them back

did it instantly hurt to wear it the first day?

I’m not sure my focals hurt to wear, but I really didn’t like the feel when I first wore them. Always felt like I was perching something that didn’t want to be there in my head.
These days I find them quite comfortable.
Make sure the band is tilted forwards, I think a lot of people end up wearing headphone bands too far back.

just tiring my ears quickly and I wear the headband almost center, forward of center.

Do you have the elex or clear?

I tried a pretty worn down Elear & Utopia. The Elear’s pads didn’t feel great but I wouldn’t say they were uncomfortable. The Utopias were so heavy, but the perforated leather pads felt sooo comfortable.

The earcup material was never really an issue for me.

I have the Elex

Switching from a planar, its a much different sound. Treble is so much more pronounced, bass extension seems on the line of lacking but still present. And mids are very good it seems.

I must have missed it, but what amp and dac do you have?

audio gd nfb-11

Hmmm, have you perhaps considered getting something like a jds labs atom or a higher end amp? The amp on the audio gd isn’t the most ideal tbh

ive liked it so far

Hey guys I just have a question about the Sendy Aiva’s, maybe you guys could help me as I can’t create a topic on my own.

I’d like to know if there is a possibility I got shipped an used or refurbished pair, as when I go here:

The Driver Matching area test seems to have a problem. The right side and the left side sounds ‘different’ at certain frequencies. When I use my HD 598’s the problem is there but is so much less noticeable. When I do the test with the Sendy Aivas I can hear the difference clearly.

Also the wiring is reversed: When I do the left and right side test I hear them on the opposite sides, the cable says L and I plug it on the left side and I hear the audio that’s supposed to be Right side there.

Would greatly appreciate any kind of help you guys could provide.

Did you plug in the cable correctly? I would make sure the cables are plugged in all the way (they should make a snap/click). Also make sure they are plugged into the right channel
