Headphone according to music genre

I listen to a variety of music genres likes rock, classical, country, metal, blues, pop, jazz, punk. What sound signature and headphones are better for these genres? Also are there any headphones which are good for all these genres?

You must make clear to yourself what sound qualities are important to you. By having such a wide musical taste, you will probably have the headphone lacking in something in one or more genre. Also, it would be great if you can share what you are looking for (sound qualities)

You should know what type of music you listen to the most

What is your budget?

I know some headphones will be lacking in some genres so maybe i could buy more than 1 and i listen to all these music genres

What about the budget?

I can recommend iBasso SR2 for working great across various different genres, if not all

…But they are around 500 bucks

Budget havent decided yey

I’d take the iBasso SR2 because they don’t require a lot of power, easy to drive. And amazing headphone for the price, definitely one of the best packages for the price

Besides it, you could enter the electrostatic game by buying the Kaldas Research RR1 (which many people consider the best electrostatic headphone for the price, it competes with the top-level Stax phones)… but you would have to invest in an electrostatic amplifier (not cheap).

Besides the SR2, I am not sure what what else you could consider. Perhaps some ZMF phones? Sennheisers?

how about focal,hifiman,fostex

I’d focus on Fostex and Focal, Hifiman is usually controversy, but you can give them a try.

Look into Fostex, Focal, Audio Technica is also highly worth it (one of the more “underrated” hifi brands), Sennheiser, ZMF.
