I have been looking for a headphone amp for my MMX 300 MK 2 ( for gaming) and my Philips X2HR (for Music) for quite a while and I’m running into an issue where I can’t seem to find a decent amp that has a mic input (as my motherboard doesn’t really have the power to push it, I find)
Schiit are meant to be pretty good but can’t seem to find any availability here in the UK
Anyone able to recommend anything? or am I just wasting my time?
The Schiit Fulla and Hel are the only dac/amps I know of that do this. If you’re willing to buy separate dac and amp you have more options. What’s your budget? You could look into an audio interface like a Focusrite Scarlet. Those are dacs with mic ins. Then connect the output of that to your choice of headphone amp.
