Been enjoying my new Topping A90. My question is. Do I have to power the unit off when I wanna switch headphones? From xlr to single ended or iem’s ect or can I leave the unit on and just unplug & plug in as I please? I don’t wanna damage my new baby. Thank you in advance. 
Yes, you can leave it on. Most amps have built-in short protection that may occur when plugging in single ended, so you may here a short second of no audio. Be sure to turn down the volume though so you don’t damage sensitive headphones / IEMs.

I bounce between XLR and 1/4 inch regularly, just double check the volume and gain switch when swapping.
