Headphones good for a tube amp for $250 at most new or used

Welcome! Decent little hybrid amp for the price to have some tube on the go. I thought the Senn 58X was pretty nice on it if you can get them where you are.

Because you’re interested in tubes, I’d look to highish impedance headphones with a history of tube success. The mentions of the Sennheiser HD-6 series should be spot-on, without knowing any other desires about sound-signature and usage. Part is this reco, is that you may ultimately pursue OTL tube, which these cans will be beneficial with.

Because this is a hybrid-type tube amp, it will be rather easy to pair with a number of things. I do hope that it is sufficient for 300 ohm headphones. Those Sennheisers can also be run balanced with a new cable, which is likely a good idea to maximize this particular amp.
