The quads and the alara have similar build, but are tuned differently
There was talk that Brainwavz built the Era for Quad? not sure how true that is mind, but it would be interesting to have a side by comparison 
660s, DT1990 (non removable cable), Phantoms, Neumann NDH 20, Sundaras lots of choice…it really depends on what your listening preferences are?.

Don’t the ndh20s have a single ended connector as well? I just wish everything came with a 4.4 mm and a 3.5mm adapter like the sendys
Yep I think they do?..it would indeed make more sense as 2.5mm jacks look so vulnerable especially the headphone ones with long collars.
I wish they did sendys in the uk because conversion rates and import fees just fuck their price up…
