Looking for advice on headphones with really good imaging.
I’ve heard the 660s were really good for this.
I’ve also heard similar things about the dt1990 pro and the 800s but I’m interested if there are any other headphones people recommend.
This would be used for film viewing as well as music ostensibly.
the 1990 and 660 have great imaging, and I don’t think you would have problems with that. The hd800s has crazy soundstage and good imaging, but imo might be a bit strange for accurate soundstage for movies. K712 might be something to look into as well. And the focal elex is up there as well imo
The ad1000x has super good imaging imo but wouldn’t be ideal for movies or all types of music.
The koss 95x or the stax Lambada series are really good for imaging as well
The MrSpeakers ether c flow 1.1 or ether cx might be good as well, but may be a bit compressed sounding

From what I’ve got, Tin T2 and Mobius are the best. Haven’t tried 1990 or 660

I find all 3 of the lower end beyers tend to have great imaging 990 the best followed by the 770 to my ears then the 880. but I find their imaging to be great stereo imaging. th e660’s are excelent for that pupose just atad pricey considering the 58x exists and is close in performance
whats another grand and get the zmf verite.
