I hear Steve Guttenberg mention Chesky all the time in his gear reviews, so I’m going to order their greatest hits CD I think.
The most amazing reverb and echo I ever herd was on this album:
“Vor der Flut - Hommage an einen Wasserspeicher”
It was recorded in an empty drinking water reservoir. You can imagine, a huge empty hall with incredibly dense walls does some good things to sound.
Another good one is “Jan Gabarek & The Hillard Ensemble - Officium”
