šŸ”¶ Hedd HEDDphone

The HEDDphone is the one high-end hp I want to try though they do seem very bulky but I think I can live with that if they sound as good as I think they do.

Iā€™ve really thought about selling a few of my headphones to help with the cost of getting a pair but I want to see more reviews on them before I make a decision.

They are decent for comfort from my experience (but I could agree they might be bulky)

What Steve said about the HEDD is true. I found straight out of the box it didnā€™t slam right away. It took a little while, then I started to question HEDD saying it dosenā€™t need any break in. The detail that is produced is better then some of my more expensive headphones. It never hurts my ears. To me itā€™s a giant killer in some respects. My most enjoyable headphones is 1266 phi tc and RAD-0 but the HEDD can do transparency better and detail in a lively way. Right now I would say it is my third place head phone.
1 1266
2 RAD-0
3 HEDD
4 Empyrean
5 Verite This one actually jumps around in place holder because it sounds so good.
6 D8000
7 Diana v2
8 Spirit Torino Radiante 1706
9 Avia
10 Phantoms
These reflect how I enjoy my EDM being a bass head. For the Diana v2 with DMS mod doesnā€™t have the slam or low end that the others do. The Head imo is the fastest but it is in 3rd because the low end is better on 1 and 2. Empyrean is very good but lacks the speed of the HEDD.

Wow you got some great headphones there. you ever think about getting the utopiaā€™s? Have you heard them?

Maybe next year Iā€™ll get them. Though I havenā€™t heard them Iā€™m sure Iā€™ll like them.

Iā€™m surprised to see the RAD-0 so high in that august company . But maybe I shouldnā€™t be. Response from that headphone ranges from 'wow" to ā€œmeh.ā€ Looks like youā€™re a ā€œWow!ā€ They certianly are beautiful!

Great collection!

Well the 3 headphones Iā€™d keep are the 1266 rad and hedd. The Hedd and RAD are always changing spots. The other headphone Iā€™d keep for portable is Spirit Torino as its a fun bass canon which I like when I travel.

I changed my mind id also keep the Empyrean could never sell them. That head seems to be the biggest meh and wow standing when looking at reviews and posts in forums.

yeah ive seen some negative reviews on teh rad-0

Itā€™s subjective like the Empyrean. When you go through Empyrean reviews and forum post itā€™s a hit or miss. But the RAD crowd love them over the Empryean. Iā€™m in both camps for liking both headphones.

Now the HEDD beats these two in many regards thereā€™s actually things I like more when it comes to clarity, dynamics, and detail. The weight of hedd dosenā€™t bother me or any of my headphones.

If you are getting any of these three headphones I recommend Hedd hands down.

I see the HEDDphone gets universal positive reviews from very experienced audiophiles. Whatever you think of an individual reviewer, when they agree on something you should pay attention!

I agree Andrew and if I was in for a headphone purchase and not an iem then theyā€™d be #1 on my list too.

Currently took the Hedd off the Formula s and using GS-X mini. This is an outstanding combo with the Chord Hugo tt2.

Haha. Good catch! Thatā€™s the default output of my computer.

I donā€™t even think I possess any 192kz files. And if I did it wouldnā€™t matter. If my ears can hear that, my brain canā€™t keep up- so either way it would be wasted on me!
