Should I get a dac/amp or just one of the amps y’all mentioned
I think you could go with a fiio k5 pro if you wanted an all in one, but imo I would personally say go for a monolith liquid spark and then get a dac like a d10, and if you can’t get a dac at the moment you can run it from the motherboard audio

I second this. 
Topping D30 ($90) + Liquid Spark ($90) + DT880 600ohm ($100) = ($280) sounds pretty good to me. I bought all my stuff used / open box. I’ve seen Sparks on head-fi for $65 or $70.

where did u find the dt880 for 100$??
Amazon Warehouse, but it doesn’t look like there are any available now. They must have been just trying to get rid of some stock. Honestly, I wasn’t planning on buying the, but I couldn’t help myself at that price. I’m glad I did, pretty great set of cans (especially at that price).
Mine were the black version, but I figure I’ll grab a set of silver pads at some point.
Really, I think I’ll probably get the 990s too when I can find a good deal – just because I like the 880s so much.
