I can get Simgot ea1000 for £220 or IE600 for £470 (Is it a noticeable upgrade worth x2 price?). I do like a bit of bass but not too much that it covers other sound. I like airy extended treble. Not too recessed mids. Bigger soundstage would be good but most of all has to fit extremely wide range of genres.
I had ie300 (disliked sound) but had sound drop issue. Then got ie200 and disliked the sound. I don’t like sennheiser cables too. I fear ie600 might be same so I am trying to seek alternative
Other IEM that I’m considering as well: Hype 4 (this looks so nice), Xenns Top, or any other you recommend.
The ones I have and would get again:
Moondrop Kato for airy treble and not too much bass or treble, vocals present and not recessed.
Moondrop Blessing 3 if you want Sennheiser hd600 tuning.
Seeaudio Yume II for depth and width to soundstage great for gaming too. May need a 2db boost at 600hz for vocals but that’s all.
7hz Salnotes Zero:2 for Harman tuning and amazing value for money.
Truthear Zero Blue for lush vocals and rich acoustics. Only if you have 1.2ohm or less output impedance since they’re 10ohm.
I’ve had the IE600 and they’re really good
but not a good value. When I travel I’ll take the Moondrop Chu II and not worry about dropping or losing them with a $9 Apple 3.5mm adapter.
