Help needed, first setup!

If you can get the 58x you should try and get it. its an excellent headphone and beats everything in its price range imo. its an awesome headphone. but if you can save up try and get the Sundara. its a truly fantastic headphone.

It’s a good headphone but that’s a bit extreme lol

yeah, sundara in my country will be $480, it’s extreme for my budget :joy:

Yeah, I like my 58x but it is my least used headphone that I own now tbh. Definitely use my nighthawks and hd600 waaaay more. Even my KPH30i gets more play time now.

I do agree though, if you are on a budget the 58x is quite good and is worth the money. I haven’t heard any Behyrdynamics however, so take my opinion with a grain of salt I guess.

i’m buying DT770 pro 80 ohm, due to my budget and i think the price markup isn’t as bad as the 58x (+$88 from original price on drop). Going to do some saving for dac/amp!

Should be pretty nice, let us know what you think :+1:

Yep i really like the sound of dt770, not dissapointing at all for first “real” headphones :joy: i’m really curious how improved the sound will be when i use k5 pro, without dac/amp this headphone already sounds great!

thanks for the advice man! going to ask more opinion on this forum definitely hahaha

If you can save a little more money and get the Hifiman Sundara with the K5 Pro, that would be a very good setup. If not the 4XX is still a really nice first headphone.

I have quite a few headphones with about half being $700 and over and I can tell you the Sundara can compete with most. You can find some open box pairs for around $299 and its well worth it imo.

yeah the 4xx is still a very solid headphone. no problem with it, you don’t have to be a saggy tit to buy a 4xx

ah 770 is great!
