Help needed on deciding on which headphones to buy!

So I do like it and I don’t think it’s lacking for the price, but I do think that it isn’t on the same level as like the edition xx, lcd 2, aeon 2, etc (but those are a different price and performance bracket)

Otherwise the verum 1 is a v shaped planar, fairly large sounding with good extension and treble as well, pretty fun. It doesn’t have the refinement of other headphones but for the sound it’s going for I don’t think that’s as important. My only concern would be qc as some have gotten units that have had issues (but they are being made by one guy so)

I also ehard people comparing Focal Elex vs DT1990 what are ur thoughts?

I like them both for different reasons. My preference leans towards the elex for music listening, and for gaming or music production the 1990 is where I would go. I think they are similarly detailed, but I think the elex sounds more natural with better dynamics, a more enjoyable and refined signature that doesn’t get too harsh, and a more accurate spatial recreation. I think both are solid choices. I would say if you wanted a wider neutral bright aggressive sound the 1990 is my pick. If you wanted a refined mild w shape sound then I would go with the elex

hahaha nice my friend suggested sundaras to me and i wanna what are your thoughts?

Solid pick, I think it would be pretty nice. I don’t think it would be on the same tier as the elex but I do think it’s a better value for the price. It’s a well extended relatively neutral headphone, with good detail and speed, pretty open sound with good stage and imaging, a bit on the lighter side of things for impact but it’s pretty impressive, I do like it alot for the price

woah it has more value than elex?

I heard a lot of good things about sundaras too heh maybe will give that a thought thanks!

I would personally say so since it’s like half the price as the elex and still offers pretty dang good sound, when you go up in audio the amount of increase performance really drops, but that small 1% can make a huge difference for people though, just depends on the person
