Why would you want to? The rme has a great dac built in.
As far as I can see, you can’t, the RME ADI 2 is predominantly a DAC with a built in headphone amp.
There is no way to pass an analog input from another DAC to that amplifier.
You’ll need an amplifier.
And for that matter a USB cable or some other digital input for the Aries 2.

My response over there:
Hello,
When i see it right the two dacs have no Analog input.
So you can don’t use in same time only seperatly with an amp.
Well you could buy a ADC between the devices and work ur way from there.
Like a Lake People ADC RS 04 or RME ADI-2 FS.
Don’t why but you can. Then you could use both DAC’s but then again. Don’t know why but you can.
pleas don’t confuse the issue with additional ADC’s.
If he can’t figure out that he needs an AMP, he’s not going to figure out your being facetious.
Well telling him to get a amplifier is useful and ain’t confusing…?
With the given information given. RME much better device so why not use it and just sell ARES II ?
What headphones / speakers he uses or wants. What is end goal of all this.
What is he trying to achieve or what he actually wants.
Information would be more helpful at this point than any suggestion.
