So I have bought for fun the Sonata II ( https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32881933145.html?spm=a2g0s.12269583.0.0.2121388atUy8SZ ) and I have a problem with it.
PROBLEM: When I push the volume more than 3/4 the sonata stops almost working and starts to make hissing and cracking sound (but if you listen carefully you can still hear the music playing but its overpowered by the cracking sounds) but not always. Sometimes I cranked it up to full volume just to see how it holds up and it can go from few seconds up to 10 minutes before it starts cracking again. When this happens I have to unplug it and plug it back.
Devices used: Phone Xiaomi mi 9T, my gaming desktop pc with MSI X370 GAMING PRO - AMD X370 motherboard
Headphones used: Tin T2, KZ 10 pro, blons 03, koss porta pro, and some others
It happens on every device and headphones.
PS: I did flashed it with all three firmwares and tested it, but the problem is still there.
Any ideas or anybody with the same experience?
Try re-applying the firmware? https://www.hidizs.net/blogs/news/how-to-upgrade-your-devices-with-hi-res-sound-with-sonata-hd-dac-cable-ii
I tried all 3 firmwares and it happens with all of them
