Gashelli Amp/Dac Stack because I have an audiowhore problem
Koss KHP30i because if I don’t win them here I’ll probably still end up buying them later.
What would I use them for? Uh…Listening to Music? I feel like this is a trap, like I’m supposed to answer with something more than Music. Music and Video Games?
Basically I just want to add these to my ever growing collection that I should probably narrow down to just a few things.
When I was a child, 16 years ago, I had a poor childhood. My attention was drawn towards the details of life. In arts and music, the details are important and bring joy to your everyday life. Few years before that, I had an old piano that was bought with connections and hard work. This started my love for music. I think I am born with musical ears and perception - this is that thing, which teleports me to many worlds for an adventure when music played… just like Genndy Tartakovsky invites you to not just see, but feel the Samurai Jack cartoon.
This is the time I received my Koss Porta Pro as a gift. The piano was already gone then, but this gift made my days bright again. These unique headphone kings made me feel the chills listening to the violins, made me sweat in cold hearing those heroic battle drums… Ahh, good times! I’ve had my Porta Pros for over 10 years until they’ve stopped working. This wasn’t much of a drama then, because my life improved and was quite active. But of course I’ve missed them a lot.
Today, if I get the Koss KHP30i as a gift, it will bring back the good memories that probably nothing else could. And combining those good memories with the Koss magic - unimaginable.
Sadly, USA is not my habitat, so this stays a dream.
Gashelli stack - because my amp and dac could do with a serious upgrade and I have limited desk space for a THX amp and the like
Vanatoo T0 - To replace my old Logitech 2.1 setup now that I’m married and been told a subwoofer on the floor is not allowed, that and Vanatoo do not sell in the UK so this would be ideal and they have always seemed to be the best bang for the buck (pound) desktop speakers without a sub.
I’d dig the Vanatoo T0’s to use as a kitchen speaker being active makes it a bit more compact. I guess i could use the rb42’s but not sure how I’d power them in a kitchen considering they don’t get anywhere near loud. When I’m cooking i need to drown out the screams from the person, I’m filleting .
I would love to own a pair of ksc75s. Reason being because I want to experience different types of sound signatures so I know what I like so I can make the right choice when i hopefully in the future am able to buy i high end headphone
The Micca RB42 would be tested in my home theater as my surround sound speakers or B speakers. If they don’t work there they would be on my desk driven by my newish Topping MX3.
The RB42’s what I want the most but any of these (especially Crown XLS or Vanatoo’s) would upgrade my hi-fi life!
It would be awesome to get the KPH30i’s. I’ve been looking to get some portable headphones recently as the only pair I currently have are bulky and half broken. I’d love to see if they live up to the hype, I haven’t seen them anywhere in person so I haven’t been able to try them out. I saved up some cash from a summer job (I’m a college student) that I was going to use to buy new headphones, but if these are nice then that would save me some time and money. Speakers would be amazing to have too, but it seems unlikely that I’d win any of those.

I am interested in the Koss KPH30i, or KSC75.
I am a beginner audiophile, having just recently bought my first entry level DAP. I haven’t got a decent pair of headphones to go with it yet. I haved a cheap earbud, and a KZ ZSN Pro IEM that somehow don’t play well with the DAP. I would love to have KPH30i headphone to tide me over until I can save up for a nicer IEM or headphones.

I would love the MIcca RB42s. Right now i only have some shitty dell speakers from like 2005 and half the time the volume wheel doesn’t even work. I prefer playing games on speakers over headphones and I feel they could really increase my enjoyment.
