Hifiman ANANDA-Stealth or Edition XS?

Hi,

I’m looking for some guidance, I own a Pair of Hifiman Sundara v2 and have been very happy with them. But I’m looking for an upgrade, and hand these to a family member.

I am looking at either ANANDA-Stealth or Edition XS, and the price difference is under 20$ so it’s quite hard to choose.

Is there anyone that can help me decide? From what I can see on reviews most people prefer the XS over the Ananda?

I think sonically they are pretty close. A lot will depend on comfort. XS is a great set, and you can EQ it, but it’s expensive.

For me it came down to the XS having slightly more accurate timbre, a better, more impactful, and articulate low end, and a smoother presentation in the treble. Both are very good headphones that give you a lot for your bb⅚bj⁶jhh
