Hip-dac enough for driving Sundara?

I saw opinion from reviews on hip-dac it’s good combo but there is still more headroom for HifiMan Sundara that will sound better with desktop dac/amp.

I ordered hip-dac and balanced cable for Sundara which intend to use in office at my desk and sometimes at home or in coffee shop. I also have FH5 and expect these pair well with hip-dac on SE output.

I didn’t rush to get desktop set, because more often I use speaker set at home and don’t spend a lot of time in office in my desk.

But also FH5 are easy to drive from my lightening dongle besides it could use larger volume range.

If hip-dac is not best option, I would look for getting Schiit Hel as semi-portable dac/amp combo solution.

I could afford getting Modius+Magnius at my home but it seems to make no sense for me to spend a lot on dac/amp when I could get easier to drive Ananda.

I would get something more powerful than a Hip-Dac to bring out the best of the Sundara. Pairing it with the Zen Can works well, though that’s not portable.

Are you sure you want to use it in coffee shops? The Sundara is open-back so it won’t close out the noise around you.
