It says that it has an active differential line receiver, which would handle balanced signals and avtively convert them to single ended internally, this likely would make it so it could take advantage of the spring when used balanced. But really canāt say until I hear one myself lol
thx didnāt realize that the āactive differential line receiverā gives a SE amp similar benefits of fully balanced. This all gets confusing AF.
Thatās not exactly it, but it allows the amp to take in balanced signals properly and convert them to se with a decent degree of quality (from what I know). It does not give the amp the benefits of an entirely differential system, but thatās getting too deep into it, and personally I donāt really care about the design, I just care about the results lol
All that really matters is what it ends up sounding like.
It has an actual summing circuit, so itās using both sides of the input, just a question of how that affects the sound.
FYI, my posts on other boards are copyrighted and trademarked. You owe me seventy million dollars. I kid of course. But seventy million dollars would have been cool.
do you accept Rupees?
I DO! lol Ā
Hello there! If I was looking at picking up a used Holo Spring 2 in the coming months, does anyone have recommendations for what sites I should keep an eye on (US-based)?
It would be cool if the release of the Spring 3 ended up meaning some good deals on a Spring 2, but I donāt really know how the market works for these kinds of things.
Market is based on demand things that are commonly mentioned in forums like this tend to be over valued used.
Hifishark.com is a good place to start.
