I’ve noticed my grills have food stuffs stuck into them, so I need to give it a clean, but can’t find any videos on YouTube on how to take the grills off. 
The inner plastic ring comes off, just be very gently when taking the ring out.

Just barely nudge the ring inwards and lift it out. Don’t just pry up or you can snap the retainer tabs. If you look closely you can see the 4 tabs.

@Pokrog @audiomaucr any chance one of you can find a video showing the process? I am clumsy and all thumbs, so if I try to figure something out and there’s a need to be careful so it doesn’t get broken, it will get broken.
