since I plan on buying some tubes, I’d like to know how you keep them safe and sound when not plugged in to your amps.
I’m thinking of something like this bead container, just need to ensure I get one with dimensions that fit tubes:
…or work with my SiL to make something custom out of hardwoods that have curved indents or cut-outs, lined with foam, to sit / fit into.

so how are they stored? their boxes stuffed in a drawer?
I can probably get something for much less via Monoprice. or…I found another listing on Amazon for a bead jar set that were 1" wide and 1.8" long, more than enough I think, eh?

Something like the tube cube but a lot cheaper are these camera boxes:
The foam inside comes sliced in cubes. you can pluck them out till you have a space big enough for the tubes. you might want to look around they come in all sized and prices. this one is 28$ but i got it for 24$
