THIS is a really nice scope. When you factor in the price, its optical performance and tracking become nearly unbeatable. If you are looking for a low budget, HPVO that offers an incredibly stable image, with superb sharpness, clarity and contrast. This should be very high on your list. The Gen I can be had for $399 with my code, and while that is extremely tempting. If you value the aspects I just mentioned, stick with the Gen II. The Gen I does seem a bit on the brighter side. Its also shorter (14”) and a tad lighter (39oz), but I would happily accept the extra size to get the benefits of this new model. I also really like the TOR reticle for precision shooting. It is a great improvement over the VPR for this magnification range IMO.

As for what I would like to see changed in the future. A capped windage for sure. The Zero Stop on the elevation is fine, but I would like to see something internalized a bit more. Add on a throw lever and I dont think much else could be improved. Time will tell how it will hold up in use. But for now, I am quite pleased with it.
