unlike most DAC, it has cables come out front and back, not just the back. how the heck do I connect this to amps in a clean / organized manner? you cannot!
turn is sideways?
that’s what I had to do…but that is neither clean or organized.
this DAC literally has to be hidden from sight!
the other option is literally, 0.5" straight through cables and tuck it behind the amp.
That is exactly what I did, turn it sideways. Good DAC, but it makes for an unorthodox setup.
wonder how hard it would be to make a cable that’s literally 1" long, LoL. then it could possibly tuck nicely behind my Vali 2, which sits atop my Mac Mini.
any cable makers wanna take this on? two RCA cables with a half inch of cable between the connectors? LoL!
I woulda thought its flaw was no usb
It’s an acquired taste.
Should not be hard to do at all.
Just make sure the cable you get does fit the strain relief in the plugs you use.
Is it bad that it’s a feature for me? Shows off nice cables
The closest thing to a solution I found was just getting a nice looking SPDIF cable so I don’t mind looking at it. It also matches the headphone cable as a bonus
you’re hired!
ah I would be pairing it with an archel and just have nice rce cables to show off with it. why I said a feature. as there may be somne nice sleeved short rca cables for the stack
explain how cables coming out of the front of the ENGO2 Pro and into the back of the ARCHEL2.5 Pro would be any neater than that?
Ah shit you right I forgot the rcas on the archel wasnt out the front as well shit that fucks up what I imagined
At that point I would just velcro the enog under my desk
yeah…it’s essentially a piece that has to be hidden. LoL
