Well after a change of cable and tips I’ve settled in nicely with the og Andro’s and the DX300…I think that the 300’s increased dynamics and although not bright treble it was and increase as compared to that of iDSD Micro…so I’ve spent plenty of time with the pairing now and have grown to love their synergy

Just got a 3 mtr non jankie cable so I can charge and listen plus a clear black silicone case…no more accidentally changing tracks when I pick it up

Anyone messed with the filters…mostly I prefer the NOS but for my Andro’s and some electronic music then it’s the D2.
D4 for me or nos. I can hear only very minor differences though

Just saw the amp12 module. I wonder if anyone has tried it.
They said it’s a discrete balanced amp module. I’m curious how it would compare with the amp11.

There is a whole thread on Head-Fi with people comparing the AMP11 MK1, AMP11 MK2, AMP12, and even going as far as comparing it to the DX220 MAX. So, that is definitely a good place to hear how people perceive the differences between those.
My AMP12 is on its way, so I still can’t give any input regarding sonic differences.

It’s a huge thread. But I would recommend to read the last 50 or so pages,
If I was you, I would read every page from ~400. However, if you are feeling a bit lazy, from this page on you can see some conclusions being made regarding the MK1, MK2, AMP12, and comparison to the DX220 MAX.
