No shade on the headphones.com people, I really like their content, but their hate of anything elevated in the ear gain always made their tastes seem really boring to me haha.

TBF to them I think it’s meant to be perceived as “Balanced tuning is no longer a luxury so we’re not doing that” considering the following description

Because how is Mirai that different than Dunu’s already existing collection?
Dunu tax + collaborator fees are a hell of a drug. When Zeos’ Dunu “collab” is better than yours…

You really should refrain from making comments like that. Claiming things like „better“ or „worse“ about a headphone without having heard it for yourself is like ascertaining a foods taste by looking at a picture of it on your monitor and trying to lick the image.
Although I agree that the product page description of it sounds a bit like pretentious bs and arrogant

TBF if I were forced to pick a collab to get I would probably Precog’s just because I hate all BA-only IEMs lol.
A bit unrelated, but I was interested in trying the DUNU Falcon Ultra. Aside from it looking gorgeous, most impressions I have seen speak of it as a great, fun sounding (v-shaped) single DD.
Might buy a set to be honest.

Collaboration handbook -tips and tricks
1. You choose a company for IEM
2. You call and offer cooperation
3. You find the graphics of your favorite IEMs
4. Tweaking the tuning here and there so it’s not completely identical to your favorite prototype IEM
5. You select a driver configuration that is different from the prototype
6. You are advertising this IEM and your name must be in first place
7. You get a good commission because you gently copied some good IEM
8. Everyone praises you in HFGF for how good you are and how good your IEM is
9. With the money you earn, you buy a good IEM

It’s a very enjoyable, (at least to memory) similar update to the limited Vernus that improved on the Falcon Pro for most people. I would definitely rec it personally, and depending on where you are (and when my schedule opens up) I may be able to loan you one for demo if you really want. PM me if you’re interested.

I wonder, does anyone aside from Crinacle even have and measure IEMs with a B&K Type 5128/4620?
Did you ever get to try the ultra? Have i forgotten whether you wrote anything about it
