Got my Fiio JM21. Well to be honest I am quite shocked how well and snappy it works coming from absolute flagship android phone. The build quality and feel in hand is also good (though it is much lighter than your typical DAP)
I guess it may not have the best battery life, but it should be around 7-9h while streaming after few hours of tests. Not much, but comparable to things like Qudelix, BTR7 etc.
It may be the one and only source standard IEM’s user may ever need.

However, for a freaking lie on the size of the bottom chin below the screen (reality vs. even the product box) Fiio should be probably boycotted as a whole
Its only recently that DAPs have gotten anything decent for the SoC. (Snapdragon 680)

Just wanted to share a story of a pure stupidity, luck and heroes without caps in the IEM world that happened to me today.
I was chilling around my house with Twilights hanging on the cable while moving from kitchen to the bedroom. And just by strike of an accident while bending over the table I decided to use a hanging right earpiece as a fucking candle extinguisher…
It fell straight to the fire putting it out immediately and half of the housing got covered in quickly hardening wax in the process covering also the inlet of one of the vents… 
This is the fire we put out.
I cursed, panicked a bit, but luckily for me my hero wife was right around the corner and in a second gave me some extremely efficient tool just right for the purpose. So in less than a minute I was able to use it to get the wax out of the vents as a first priority until it is completely hardened.
I don’t know what magic did she use to know what is needed and to have it just in time for the action, but that is why we have the better halves with us I guess 
This is the tool she had. What it is for originally I don’t know 
I believe I got everything out of the vent, both sounds exactly same for my flawed ears after the hole situation.
oh god, this must have given you a heart attack. Heard stories about people dropping their iems in the toilet or in food but this is a first for me lol.

Im curious though, if people would be interested in me showing a step by step guide on how to set up other stuff such as file browsers and performance monitors? My document is already huge as it is with “just” the bare minimum of setting up the music server (and VPN for remote access along with adblock DNS).
