Given the actual price tag, I fully agree.
Really liked that set with the superstage module…but ultimately modules and dip switches =
for me.
Oppoty let’s go ![]()
Yea I sold the EST80. The treble was too polite and spineless for me. Everything else about it I loved though.
I totally agree with this. I got to audition it and found the sub bass lacking and the whole tonality kinda off.
Yeah, I didn’t follow up the post you quoted because the more I listened to the Venus, the more I really disliked them.
The Venus are the most overrated pair of IEMs I heard in 2025. They make the Hall of Shame along with the Simgot EA500 LM and DUNU DaVinci as the most overrated, overhyped sets I’ve heard in the last two years.
Got this from hifigo. Looks bad on graph imo.
29 usd on taobao, compared to the titan s2 at 56 usd there.
The upper mids and treble look like trash wtf
Also: those shells remind me of the SimGot design…
Yeah…i only accepted this cuz they sent me squig link shirt anyway and i thought they may as well include it since they asked.
Probably PET diaphragm since it was not mentioned here.
Pic from hifigo page.
Yo that’s actually sick
We all know that cool exploded schematics sound 50% better right
Would be nice if they invested that effort into the, you know, actual IEM ![]()
Im referring to the part where they say KZ solves the issue of not having a dedicated sub bass driver. That is not new and has been around for years.
No worries, I got that part. I was just making fun of how they are using the visual as a means of adding gravitas to their statement.
A 13mm DD sounds pretty dope tho low key ![]()
That thing ISNT a DD. Its a BC. The bass shaker type. Which btw doesnt really do much sub-bass, these mainly operate in the mid-bass area so their claim is also bs…
Oh Fuck, I misread that lmao they got me
