oof, as the others mentioned you should replace it. Take it out and see if there is another filter or not under it acting as a damper, if its JUST that metal filter then you can easily replace it with the same or similar enough thing from aliexpress as that just looks like a non-dampening filter meant for debris protection.
Correct, that doesnât work. Probably the reason why Mike didnât say to try that lol. He told me about using a sewing needle of the smallest mm and microtweezers to remove the grill.
Yep. Use a sewing needle in one of the holes at the edge of the grill since there is a sticky adhesive ring under the edge of the grill. It appears that there is a very fine mesh filter underneath the grill.
âThe connectivity chip also supports Bluetooth 7 with Bluetooth High Data Throughput, raising speeds from 2 Mbps to 7.5 Mbps. There is compatibility with Qualcommâs Expanded Personal Area Network (XPAN), Bluetooth LE Audio, and the Snapdragon Sound suite. That means you can use aptX Lossless, aptX Adaptive, aptX Voice on supported devices for high-resolution Bluetooth audio streaming.â
HUGE speed improvements and XPAN is the big thing for audio as well.
âUnlike traditional Bluetooth, which is limited by bandwidth and range, XPAN uses Wi-Fiâs wider frequency channels (2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz) to stream lossless 24-bit/96kHz audio with minimal power consumptionâ
I assume using wifi will trade battery life for stability mostly, as wifi should be a lot more stable and stronger than bluetooth. So no more weird random cutouts cuz your jacket got in the way or something. Could also be great for people using wireless at home and dont mind the battery drain.
" The paired earbuds require Qualcommâs Snapdragon S7 Pro chip while the paired phone or tablet needs a Snapdragon chip (itâs unclear if a specific Snapdragon SoC is required). The paired devices also need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network."
Yeah you are right there. But this tech uses both bluetooth and wifi, from what i read it basically automatically switches between them depending on the distance, short range with bluetooth and longer with wifi. So its pretty different from the way hifiman does it i believe.
What higher up or consulting firm suggested this change. This is such a huge change and just ruins the entire site. I know many people might not be spending as much due to uncertain times but holy hell does it just ruins the site
