Are you serious! That’s the chart for it. Didn’t realize one came out already. They used all that fancy wording about it being intentionally colored and the sound of the future to give us that. Ridiculous!! I was hoping we’d get something untraditional in today’s market and just looks like most their other releases. The SA6U looks more unique than the Mirai. I’m sure no one up there cares though since they made it limited to help pump interest and bring in more a markup for it being a collab. Shame on headphones and Precog.
Sure but they gotta slap the name on it to drive up interest in today’s flooded market. Then also slap a colab price tag on it and make it limited.
They’re gonna get that Timmy money though. Dunu with a bass tuck?
Just send the lotion to Japan now and change Gizaudio to Jizzaudio
Ok sounds great, I trust TDM’s ears.
Money in pocket do I go ARTTI 1R or Chopin?
Is the chopin Playing in the Kiwi ears Quintet area? What’s the Bass like?
I think chopping is a great set. Very nice. Hard to go wrong at that price.
Found out that they are at least made by Shuoer.
(NOT MINE!!!)
If its simply as an OEM or actually a sister company, I do not know.
Yeah, I saw that over on the other website as well - interesting. I’m not sure how that translates in terms of the actual quality of the product, but I am at the very least curious about the set. Finally, something different to stir the pot with a decent manufacturer***** graph to boot. The DZ4 was similar in a sense but failed to actually deliver as far as I can tell by most accounts. Ironically, by Shuoer too.
Shuoer QC (L&R matching) seems to be pretty good so at least that I think should be good here as well.
Then there is the question if Artti is using them simply as an OEM for their own design, which would mean we cant look at Shuoer stuff for any sound indications. OR if Artti is actually a sister company for Shuoer, in which case we CAN look at shuoer stuff for the sound.
But yeah Shuoer is kinda hit and miss.
Someone in my server asked the Artti store about the R1 driver settings. Seems they are using 3 separate drivers. From the description it sounded more like it was a Coaxial (2x6mm) DD with a separate 8mm DD.
Cable looks very Letshuoer.
As much as many of their sets graph similarly, I have owned several and the presentations, technicalities, and the sonic differences provided by what tuning differences are present and different driver types and configs have provided plenty of differentiation and good listening.
Dunu is basically doing their own take on a successful FR curve, tweaking it to match a desired market, design, driver strengths, etc. And they’ve been pretty damn successful with it. When you have a successful formula you shouldn’t necessarily stop innovating, but you also don’t stop working with that successful lineage…unless the public stops buying. That’s all just my take though.
tbf, if you are gonna complain about a brand releasing the “same” thing over and over again, that would be Moondrop with their single DD lineup…
The thing I’m commenting on is the word salad that they put out:
“While many IEMs strive for neutral benchmarking, the Mirai intentionally ventures into more colored waters. Despite these deliberate frequency alterations, it doesn’t compromise on tuning fundamentals, resulting in a sound that’s both musical and tastefully executed.”
That sure is a collection of words
Yeah that is quite the marketing spiel.
I asked Google Bard to turn word salad into a multivitamin:
“While many IEMs aim for neutral sound, the Mirai intentionally alters frequencies, yet maintains tuning fundamentals, resulting in a musical and tasteful sound.”
No waifu, so no.
