Did you ever get to try the FD7?
Not a single Fiio after they didnt send me one after I bashed the FH5S lol.

The knowledge I got some years ago though, is that the FD7 is using the same bery diaphragm (actually dont remember if it was only the diaphragm or the driver itself) as the Dunu Luna and is the worlds cheapest pure bery (yes, legit PURE bery) set. (the other 2 iems with pure bery are the Dunu Luna and the Final A8000 but both are like 3x the cost of the FD7.)

I thought the FD7 was only beryllium coated. I never really studied it seriously.
nope, pure.
They get the diaphragm from the same place as Dunu does which is why Dunu knew about it (and told me about it).

Thanks - it has definitely intrigued me, but they’re a bit old now, and seem to be a low-hype set for whatever reason…
