iFi xCAN availability? what else like it?

I have a BTR5, and I like it a lot, but the lack of analog input and -most importantly- the very annoying digital button volume control make me want to try something else.

the iFi xCAN looks promising, but it seems very hard to find?
is iFi having production issues?

is there anything else out there like the xCAN?
I really like the hip-dac, but no bt ruins it for me.

Reqs

  • BT is a must
  • nice round volume knob, please
  • ideally at least as much power as the BTR5 balanced
  • bonus if it doesn’t look like crap

Hm, the xDuoo XD05 Bal looks promising, although a bit on the expensive side.
I also wonder how practical that volume wheel is, but I understand why they would implement it like that.

From the website, it looks like Abyss might have some xCANs in stock?

Edit: Also, I own an XD-05 Plus (not balanced) and I like it quite a bit after swapping the op amp, but the Bluetooth quality on the add-on they sell for it is definitely not the best, I occasionally get random drops even with devices that are like a couple feet away.
