as the title states can in ceiling speakers replace bookshelf speakers? I own a pair of Klipsch RP 600m’s originals. and i am wondering if getting in ceiling speakers is a good idea? looking for some that have the sound of the 600m’s. all help is appreciated greatly.
I don’t think that’s a good idea. I have not seen any ceiling speakers that seem good for actual music. They usually have to be set up for a specific listening position giving you little freedom. Also you generally get worse bass due to it being effectively a too big closed box with no dampening for the driver.
Stick to bookshelves would be my advice
