When I was young, japanese music was one of the first things I enjoyed listening. It was (and is!) great J-rock band The GazettE. It was such a pleasure to listen them using good headphones!

Only familiar with Matryoshka and I honestly don’t know any other groups like them.

Kinda off topic but I bought the cd for this album and for some reason some parts just doesn’t sound good at all and I can’t tell if it’s because I ripped out the files from the cd into a .wav or is it something else

Chiming in with some sources for those interested in indie stuff. Gone are the days of P2P/Soulseek and spending hours on Audioleaf, with YT and Spotify’s algo doing most of the heavy lifting nowadays.
