Good comparative review, I’m considering buying this set but I’m concerned about the size of the shell, how does it compare to an iem shell such as the Kiwi Ears HBB Punch which I own?.

It’s thicker and heavier, if you found the HBB to be a bit big then these will not fit, if you found them ok then these might be ok lol

Cheers, the HBB fits ok but I generally use small eartips and prefer a sub 6mm nozzle. I may contact Elise audio in this country (uk) who deal with thieaudio and ask about a possible “demo” unit (or very similar sized/shaped iem) to be sent to me to try out,

That is what they (EPZ) told me before, that they are an OEM. Not that I have seen proof of that though…

I guess that depends on what you’re looking for. I’m a vocal guy so I like Volume S better, but if you like warmer then maybe Pure would be better. It’s pretty smooth so the 8K is probably coupler.

Yeah definitely. To me a vocal focused iem is weird since to me buds just shits on them in that area so I rather have iems be bass focused instead. (and also since the only time I use iems would be outside and that needs even more bass to compensate for environment noise.)
