Drop the bone conduction driver (gimmick, nothing else) and use 4 BA’s and 2 EST drivers, reduce the shell size considerably and just tune it well, it can be done without chasing “driver count” as an excuse to shout “flagship” and perhaps drop the price to $1000\£1000.
If it’s just audio quality you are after then there’s no need for such an expensive Aful iem, once you get above a certain price your buying more than sound
Your squig seems to match @VIVIDICI_111 's one, but both are different from HBB’s and the “official” one from Ziigaat. I wonder which one is the actual tuning?
Absolutely. It can get annoying to see brands chase driver counts like it’s a spec sheet competition. AFUL has proven they can do more with less, so it’s disappointing to see them lean into this. “Flagship” should stand for a refinement of house tuning and tech, not just a bloated shell with a dozen drivers fighting for space.
If they focused on refinement over excess, they could offer something truly special without ballooning the shell or the price tag.
Over the years, I’ve learned a lot from this hobby and truly enjoy it for the fun and creative outlet it provides. It helps me cope with personal mental health challenges, offering a way to focus on something positive. I’ve never sought financial gain from this hobby and don’t participate in affiliate links or collaborations. My goal is simply to share honest purchase advice.
In the next two weeks, by July 18, 2025, I’ll be revamping my ranking list to better reflect my views on audio quality. A preview of this updated list will appear in my upcoming Ziggaat Luna IEM review, followed by a detailed video explanation. I’ll also address your questions posted here, provided they’re respectful and constructive.
Note this includes some tabs that I have removed like Legendary tab, and Collab Ranking lists.
This announcement will be shared on Facebook, Discord, Hifi-Guides, and Twitter. Thank you for your patience as I work through these updates. Stay tuned!
