benefits of both amps? I haven’t seen anyone do a comparison between these both.
I’d be curious to hear a comparison between the Atom and the Schiit Magni. They’re a little closer in price as well.
Both of those were part of the $100 amplifier roundup Zeos did a while back:

The Atom has better single ended performance but less power than the THX. The THX has basically everything else, the build quality, balanced, tactile response of the controls, etc.
It will be awhile but I can report back once I get my 789 in August (hopefully that date holds up). I’m really with the Atom at the moment. In fact, whenever JDS Lab comes out with the companion DAC, it will be my future office set up (currently working from home).
