That was an awesome video about the Defiant. You guys should check it out. We get a lot of cameos from a few guys I’ve heard of, and a few almost everyone has heard of. Crin, Timmy, and Treblewellextented were all there with positive things to say.

Congrats @ZeosPantera on the collab. Super excited to review it. I like the pearl one more than the green one, it matches with the cable as well :fire::fire:.

I’m really curious about how the sound quality of the Defiant compares to their previous 61T series?

Thanks for the graph and photos. Looks like a cheaper Juzear 61T. Very nice graph…

The presentation is really nice as well. Like how the shells are embedded in the foam (saw an unboxing, they are even protected by plastic wrappers right?).

yeah, there are plastic wrappers around the shells in the package.

I would say the Defiant is considerably less resolving IEM vs the Butterfly with a smoother more relaxed top end. The Defiant fills out the lower mids making it a slightly warmer presentation.

For all what you get for $100 wow the Defiant brings some serious goodness to stir up the marketplace.

This is a great IEM for those just starting out wanting to try a hybrid and learning thier preferences. Completely Un-offensive and safe tuning.

Ok so a night with Defiant.

I’ve been watching Star wars Rebels since there is a ton of dynamics and orchestral music. I also have been using divinius velvet tips along with L&P W4, Cayin C9ii and Hiby RS6. It does scale with power, I don’t have my less expensive gear at the moment so please take this review with a grain of salt

Bass is excellent and well controlled. If you watch anything from Star wars you know there is almost a constant subass line that plays in the background. I can say this never got distracting or bleeding into bass and mids.

Mids aren’t to recessed or forward for me. Vocals are nice and clear while still sounding natural. You can definitely detect changes in the space the characters are speaking in, like on a ship or out in the open world. Not something you always get with a “budget” iem.

Treble sparkles but doesn’t get to over the top or sound crunchy like some inexpensive iems can. All in all it plays nice with my tinitus which isn’t the case with most iems in the $100 price range.

For $100 I don’t think there is a better buy at the moment as it compares favorably against meze alba and dynaquattro which is 2x the price.

Oh and the visuals of the pearlecent green is amazing, could ask for much more, even the cable is comfortable to use. Hopefully hifigo sells the cable separately as I could see using it on all my iems with uncomfortable or microphonic cables.

Thanks for reading my ramblings.
