Anyone here has tried both speakers and willing to share what differences there are? Have been thinking of upgrading if I can come across a used pair of R100 for cheap. But I wonder if I will lose the forward midrange of the Q100 since I’ve read that the R100 is a more neutral speaker.
If it helps, I use my KEF Q100 in a nearfield setting and I love pretty much everything about it, especially the soundstage and imaging. The forward mids also sounds vocals sound good. I do find the treble can feel forward and grainy at times but very rarely, on specific tracks.
