That was an awesome reply and now I am not releuctant to get either, as you gave me a very useful description of both. They are both on sale right now, so I will go for the Vali if they can make me this version:

I have received the first mail from Valentin Kazanzhi and the pads are okay in brown and now I am waiting to hear if the hinges can be silver as well. The 4-pin xlr also helped me as they are very appealing to me. The wood is probably going to be Bubinga, but that is also quite nice.
This just means I have cancelled my Drop Focal Elex, but these are way more special and interesting. (Despite the 520g weight)

The comfort is pretty great and it distributes it very well imo

I haven’t heard that version. William Murdoch does a good YouTube comparison between the two. He seems to favor the old version by a hair.
