Klipsch Heritage Headphone Amplifier

Hey all, I came here to let everyone know (and if you have Zeos contact, to have someone let him know, I am not in that Patreon level) that I sent my Klipsch Heritage Headphone Amplifier which I bought on Zeos recommendation to Amir of Audio Science Review. So if you like measurements and performance metrics, that review should be released today, according to Amir. Also, he said it was a good unit which makes me happy. Still waiting to see the final review.

Nice, thanks for doing that. I like that amp but I would be curious to see how it measures

I’m looking forward to seeing how it performs as well!

woot, review is up!

Anyone have current thoughts on this amp, or comps to things like the RNHP? DAC compared to SU-8, and would it feed the RNHP well using the RCA out?

It’s a warmer dac amp combo, well built solid feeling. I don’t think it competes with the rnhp with a good dac, but for an all in one it is very solid if you want a warmer, pleasing sound with great build and quality. I think a closer comparison would be the questyle cma400i

Question: how the Heritage amp compares to the Element II? I know its a little bit more expensive, but I’ve been considering trying to find a heritage amp used around the same price. It interest me for the looks and for the option of line out/pre out. My current headphones are: K712 and HD58x, and I should get a Sundara soon.

I have the Element II and am looking at getting the Klipsch to replace it so v.interested if someone could chime in on this!

Nothing against the Element really, I sold my 789/RME stack for it but I’m really missing XLR… I kind of hate 1/4 inch jacks… Also I think the higher OI will play nicer with my ZMFs.
