But YES! Late summer/Early fall 1991 - in a 6 week stretch - gave us:

It is another Funky Friday and COVID quarantines are still a thing… But, that does not mean you can’t catch a good show from the comfort of your own couch. Plus’s are not having to pay for parking/valet, admission is free, and beverages well, mix your own if ya know what I mean.
Let’s kick it off tonight with a little Funk and Sax - Awe yeah put some hot sauce on it!
Being born in 1976, i was just starting to get proper into music, and the autumn of 91 (think it was late oktober) i bought my first CD player, and bought 3 albums… GnR Use you illusion 1 and 2, and Dire straights - on every street. Not that long after Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Red hot chilli peppers, Metalica and some old AC/DC albums… my foundation in music taste was pretty much set right there
First time I heard Smells Like Teen Spirit was late at night on the radio from a boombox sitting on my headboard…I was just a kid and I was supposed to be going to sleep. Dave’s drum intro hit and then that crushing guitar lick followed and I sat up straight and was utterly transfixed. Some songs…the instant you hear it…you know it just changes everything.
AMHD > IPhone > Monolith Usb Dac > Focal Clear…2L’s recordings are really great quality, bought this SACD and Blu-ray a long time ago. Great test for a system.
